Learn The Secrets To Win At Life

Scoring Big By Following Your Destiny

Try this one on for size? Does your human body fit? Do you feel like you’re on the right path? Do you feel like you should be something more than what you currently are?

This goes beyond dreaming about being a star baseball player, or famous football star. It’s about the desire to follow your path and or destiny. Sure, they are going to be people who block your path like a three hundred pound linemen. There are going to be people who tackle you down and keep you from scoring.
Others will force you to fumble your ball. But stay strong and realize that no matter what you do, you are still on your path. You may be only able to get to the first or second yard line in this lifetime. But you’ll have many more “lifetimes” to succeed. With each one granting you more chances to advance the ball and score that winning touchdown!

There has been a lot of debate about free will and destiny.

However, I am here to tell you that everything in life is a choice. You make choices both before you were born and after. Just think about destiny and free will like being a fish that is caught on a hook. The fish can move left and right (free will). But no matter how hard it tries it is going to get reeled in (destiny).
This is why it is important to understand that your higher self (soul) has already predetermined your destiny. The higher self sees the bigger picture. Nothing that happens to you is a mistake. Rather, it is an experience that allows your destiny to unfold. It is important to understand that our higher selves exist at a higher dimension that transcends the linearity of time and space. Eshu Elegba is guiding our souls, and allowing them to see past, present, and future events, all at the same time.

Our souls, with the guidance of Eshu Elegba can also see parallel realities.

This means that our souls can see all possible choices, results, and alternate timelines that span from our current lifetime. Our souls influence conditions before we even make a choice. So what does this mean? In dummy terms, it means that you will find a great deal of happiness by aligning your free will with your destiny.
You can do this by following your bliss, your desires, and passions. The purpose of life is soul evolution, and with each life span, your soul is trying to get further and further down the yard line. When you resist your desires, you’re going to fumble the ball. When you block your passions, you’re going to get blocked and tackled. When you accept yourself fully and completely, you’ll go all the way.

Eshu-Elegba And Parallel Realities

Can you imagine a world where we could see the end before the beginning?

Wow! We would never make stupid mistakes. We would always make the best choices, and everything in life would be absolutely perfect.
In truth, no matter how much we evolve spiritually, we will never get to a point where we can predict the future with 100% accuracy. This is because our world is constantly changing. Nothing in nature stands still, and we need the guidance of Eshu-Elegba to understand how we relate to our world.

There are millions of people in the world who are directionally challenged.

Even with a GPS system, they still don’t know where to go. These are the kind of people who are accident-prone, they don’t know left from right, and are rated as high-risk drivers on their insurance policies.
Why are these people so dangerous to themselves and others? They are dangerous because they fail to see the part that they play in the grand scheme of things.

I have written dozens of articles about imprinting and programing.
I have spoke of how we are taught to view our world from a linear perspective. When in truth, the world consists of numerous anti-worlds or parallel realities.

Many of us, particularly those who are directionally challenged, go through life believing that there is one road that will lead us to our destination.

We get frustrated when we’re stuck in traffic jams. We get road rage when people pull out in front of us. We give jaywalkers the finger, when we have to inconveniently swerve around them.
These things start to happen when we feel like we are falling off track and we start to believe that our journey will never come to an end.

This is when we need to call out to Eshu-Elegba.

He will come and force us to abandon our cars. He will lead us up to the highest building, where we can look down and see everything in town. We can then see all the alternative roads that can take us to our destination. We can see the accident that caused the traffic jam. We can see that the woman who cut us off was fleeing from a crime scene. We can see the jaywalker rushing to the hospital to see his newborn baby.

Eshu-Elegba is the orisha who exposes us to different worlds.

He will show us different perspectives, parallel realities, so we know what detours to take. Many times, we get frustrated with ourselves, and other people, because we can’t see all the possibilities. This is why we need to invoke Eshu-Elegba, for he is the only one who can accurately see the future and determine our fate.

Eshu-Elegba and Energetic Contracts

Eshu Elegba says that people need to be careful about the contracts that they sign.

They need to be sure the read the small print, the addendums, and the information that is exchanged nonverbally.
I am pretty sure that this non-verbal exchange of information is the energy that is passed from one person to another. People need to be sure that they are not signing their life away or putting themselves at a disadvantage.

Most people would agree that energy is information in its most basic form.
We, as human beings, as living organisms are nothing more than energy that vibrates at different frequencies.
When we interact with people, our energetic bodies merge and we began to share information with them.

Two heads

However, there are some people who just want to take and not give.

These people are commonly called bloodsuckers, energy vampires, and psychological manipulators. These are the people who give off bad vibes, or the people you just don’t like, but can’t understand why.
They operate based on the 80/20 rule. An even, 50/50 exchange of energy is not enough for them.

They want to suck you dry.

However, they will only take 80% of your energy. They will leave you with 20% because they need to keep you alive, so they can continue milking you for the rest of your life. These people have creative ways of manipulating people.
They use all kinds of tactics like guilt, shame, and fear. Their main purpose is to have total and complete control over you, because then they know that they have a huge stash of energy to feed off of.

Negativity will always need some kind of outside source to support it.
Positive energy has its own intrinsic value. When entering into an energetic contract, you need to be sure that you are expressing what your needs are.
If people are not meeting your needs, then the contract is null and void. The courts that govern spiritual laws will not uphold any contract that puts one person at a significant disadvantage.

Just remember, people with lower levels of consciousness seek to destroy anything that they feel threatened by.

This is why it is so important for all of us to know our worth, to understand our personal power, and not be victims of energetic vampires. This concept is further explored in the fiction book
When The Shadows Began To Dance. It is a book that touches on the healing power of African deities and Orishas.

Who Said Eshu Was The Devil?

Recently, I’ve had several people write to me about Eshu.

They have told me horror stories about Eshu being like the devil, about him playing nasty tricks and games on people. He is a manipulator, and Orisha who never plays fair, and is unpredictable. Well, those were some pretty harsh things to say about Eshu. Then, I thought to myself. How did Eshu get this really bad reputation?

Then, I thought about Western literature.

I remembered reading Dante’s Inferno where a devil like creature resided in the under-world. The devil was of course an amalgamation of the dark forces that exists within our selves and in the world.
We were taught to fear the devil, to fear the darkness. This is perhaps why Eshu has become more like the boogeyman than our spiritual savior. He bears his stripes strong and proud. He blatantly brandishes his wickedness and it is too much to handle for some people.

Why? Well, mainly because people are afraid to look within themselves.

They are afraid to see the nasty devilish creature that they have hidden inside of them. So at night, when the lights go out, it comes out to play. It hides in their closet, and under their beds. It plays tricks on them by pulling off the covers, or by exposing its shadow to the light. It thrives on fear, because then people can push it back into the dark recesses of the mind, where it grows and becomes more powerful, more menacing.

Eshu is a representation of the trickery and manipulation that the ego holds over the mind.

Eshu is also the personification of misfortune and death. When the ego becomes too strong, it begins to suppress the other parts of the mind and the soul, inhibiting spiritual growth. You can think of the ego like a virus or disease that eats away at your soul. Some people think that they can do away with their ego entirely. But much like the boogeyman, it sneaks up on them at night. The only way to deal with the ego is to become aware.

People can become aware by understanding that they have darkness inside of them.

They can become aware by understanding that there is darkness in nature. Darkness is needed, for balance, for growth, for evolution. Our external world is reflection of our own inner turmoil. The things that we fear represent the issues in our lives that we need to face. So we all have a choice. We can go on being afraid of the darkness, or we can accept it as an entity that is needed for our spiritual development.
